FabFitFun | Spring 2017
It's finally here! I've been keeping my lips sealed for so ages (okay, a few months) and am thrilled to announce my newest collaboration with FabFitFun in designing their Spring 2017 Box! I always get especially excited when I have the opportunity to work with brands that I already follow and support, so FabFitFun is an absolute dream client.
The FabFitFun Box is a quarterly subscription service. Each season, they send out a box of fabulous finds in beauty, wellness, fashion and fitness. All the items are hand-picked by the FFF team and contain $200+ worth of goodies.
FabFitFun has achieved incredible success. They've shipped out nearly half a million Spring '17 boxes alone, have an email subscriber base of 1.5 million, and generate over 125 million impressions on social platforms each season. Their brand is widely-adored by loyal customers and continues to grow with rapid pace. I'm thrilled to offer my design services to a company with such impact.
I designed a custom illustration that is inspired by my travels around the globe. Because I tend to go overboard when I'm jazzed about a project, the intricate linework weaves throughout each and every printable side of the box, inside and out. I left no surface untouched and coated every nook and cranny with detailed flourishes and hidden embellishments.
As a special surprise, we printed a rainbow of spring colors (how can you pick just one?) so every box that arrives will be a color-pop treat all in itself. If you're a FFF subscriber, snap a pic of your box and share by tagging @catcoq or #fabfitfun. I'd love to see what color you wound up with!
As you can imagine, my working file was insaaaaaaansely intricate. Here are the dielines in outline mode:
