This limited-edition screenprinted poster pays homage to my home state. The American bison is not only the Kansas state animal, it has the honor of being our national mammal of the United States as well. The bison of the Great Plains roamed the American Midwest alongside saber-toothed tigers & woolly mammoths. Despite near-extinction during the days of the Wild West, they've rebounded as a species, although their survival is heavily dependent on conservation efforts. Fun fact: their hump allows them to plow through heavy snow drifts.

Each print is individually numbered and signed by Cat Coquillette.

Size: 11" x 14". Prints arrive unframed & will fit standard-size frames. If you'd like to mat your print to fit a 16" x 20" frame, please instruct your framing professional to cut a 10.5" x 13.5" inner window.
