I had the opportunity to share my entrepreneurial journey with 300 fellow founders during the Dynamite Circle’s flagship conference in Bangkok, Thailand. DCBKK is five jam-packed days full of masterminds, topic-based meetups, keynotes, workshops and great conversations.

The DC is an exclusive community of over a thousand vetted, location-independent entrepreneurs focused on building successful online businesses. Member are from all types of backgrounds and business expertise who are brought together by the desire to improve and succeed.

I spoke on the main stage about how I’ve structured my business around partnerships, which enables me to keep my company as small and lean as possible. The reason I can remain profitable without any employees, contractors, or virtual assistants is because I partner with companies that fill in these gaps for me.

My partners and I have complementary skills– I provide content, they monetize it for me, and we share the profits. For someone who prioritizes autonomy, this has lead to a more satisfying work/life balance and a thriving business. By establishing my company this way, I’m only responsible for my own output, have nearly zero expenses and have complete ownership over when and where I work.

Outsourcing tasks to partners enables me to create the space to make high-level business decisions, not get lost in tactical hell, and focus on the truly important things that will move the needle. I get to spend my time working on the things I’m good at– painting, negotiating, and creative problem solving. Result? I genuinely enjoy running my company.

What’s DCBKK?

For the past eight years, every October, the “DCBKK” conference runs in Bangkok, Thailand. “DC” for the community, Dynamite Circle, and “BKK” for the Bangkok international airport code.

The annual DCBKK conference is held in a 5-star hotel with 250-300 established entrepreneurs running mid 5-figure to 8-figure businesses. DCBKK provides a safe and reliable space where successful entrepreneurs exchange knowledge, expertise, experience, and resources with one another though masterminds, well-defined workshops, intimate meetups, and insightful talks from notable entrepreneurs.
