Humans of New York

Inspiration can come in some of the unlikeliest places. I was scrolling through one of my favorite blogs, Humans of New York, when I spotted Patricia and Howard, one charismatic couple. I couldn't decide what I liked more: their style or their story.

“We met while he was renovating a house for me and my ex-husband. My ex-husband wasn’t interested in helping. He kept saying: ‘Go with Howard to pick out the windows.’ And: ‘Go with Howard to pick out the doors.’ Well, Howard and I were getting along so well, my ex-husband eventually said: ‘Just go with Howard.’"

Just for fun, I whipped a quick digital drawing based on these lovebirds. Here's my interpretation:
