Keep on Going and Growing – New Art Collaboration with Society6 and The Sill

I had the opportunity to work with Society6 and The Sill to create this piece for the new Power Mamas launch! The collection celebrates eleven female founders for their leadership and creativity.
It was a team effort: The Sill’s founder, Eliza Blank, art directed this piece I painted– she chose the quote, artistic style, and color palette and I whipped up the rest.
I only take on a limited number of commission projects like this each year. The project has to feel right and really resonate with me. This is one of those occasions and I’m thrilled with how everything came together. Eliza chose words that encouraged her as she grew her botanical-based business into the success it is today.
Power Mamas celebrates eleven female founders for their leadership and creativity—as they balance the difficulties of entrepreneurship with raising the next generation. As part of the Lil 6ers launch, we’ve taken words that inspired each of them as they grew their business, paired them with a Society6 artist and brought their words to life as children's wall art. A percentage of all proceeds for these limited-run pieces will go to P.S. ARTS to further arts education in underprivileged communities.
