Kansas Tribute
My childhood:
• 8pm = gathering of neighborhood kids for dark tag or kick the can.
• Cows in a field = time to roll down the car window & "moo" hello.
• Tornado sirens = rush out the back door with binoculars & high expectations.
I grew up in Kansas and will always call the midwest my home. I've been meaning to create a Kansas-inspired art print for awhile now, but always had a hard time figuring out what it should be. I'm not exactly a sports fan, feel "meh" about BBQ, and am always more inspired by nature than a skyline. Things I DO love: Our state motto & all the little (and big) creatures that call Kansas home, too.
Our state motto, "to the stars, through difficulties" is one of my favorite quotes and the theme of the first poster. Look closely & you can spot the state symbols as well.
