New Target Collection with York Wallcoverings & Makers Collective
I’m thrilled to announce my latest collection with Makers Collective, which is now available in Target stores!
The new bedding line is inspired directly from my travels in Southeast Asia: Fan Palm was the first thing I watercolored after a family hiking trip in Vietnam. Retro Sunset was inspired by the vibrant color palette of Bali that I encountered while living there.
Bonus: to celebrate the success of the Target placement, another one of my licensors decided to team up with Makers Collective. Now, you can find accompanying wallpaper through Roommates Decor, which complements the Makers Collective bedding collection. More details on that below!
Design #1: Fan Palm
About the Design:
Inspired by the lush jungles of Southeast Asia, this Fan Palm bedding will infuse your bedroom with a tropical essence. Artist Cat Coquillette was influenced by her first-hand experience hiking through the wilderness of Sapa, Vietnam.
Throughout the excursion, Cat and her family trekked through dense jungle and expansive rice terraces, sleeping in villagers' homes each evening. Cat photographed the tropical plants growing along the trail and painted this ombré blue fan palm as a commemoration of her adventure. This modern design goes with everything and adds a contemporary, tropical statement to the bedroom.

Design #2: Retro Sunshine
About the Design:
Surf's up! Inspired by the tropical sunsets of Bali, this Retro Sunset bedding will add a far-out, modern vibe to your bedroom. Artist Cat Coquillette pulled her color palette straight from nature: the fiery sky and blazing blue waters of the Pacific are characteristic of Bali's black sand beaches at sunset. This contemporary design will infuse a refreshing, tropical statement to the bedroom.

Fun little fact: I originally illustrated this Retro Sunshine design for my niece! (She’s a year old now.) My sister-in-law asked me to design her baby shower invites and I whipped up this sunshine illustration on my iPad. I added it into my licensing portfolio & it took off like wildfire! It’s pretty special to have such a personal connection with this design. 🌞
